What are you doing about Coronavirus / COVID-19?
We put the safety of our customers and employees first. We will observe social distancing when delivering, as well as wearing gloves.

As a small, local business, please be reassured that the drinks you purchase from us have generally been in contact with only 1 or sometimes 2 people in the last 7 days. Our warehouse is not open to the public, and we generally pick and deliver products ourselves.

If you are vulnerable / self-isolating, please use “Additional information” section of Checkout to let us know when ordering.

Where do you deliver?
Currently, we only deliver to Marlow (postcode area SL7), Henley-on-Thames (postcode area RG9), Cookham (postcode area SL6 9) and Bourne End (postcode area SL8). If you live nearby but outside these areas, please contact us as we may sometimes be able to make an exception.

What is cost of delivery?
Delivery is FREE, as long as you spend £40 or more.

How does £40 minimum order work?
You can buy whatever mix of products you like (wine, beer, cider, spirits), as long as total is £40 or more.

How quickly do you deliver?
Our aim is to deliver as quickly as possible, and we will post our up-to-date delivery times on our website. We normally deliver ourselves from our local warehouse, so we can be more flexible than most national delivery companies. If you really need a super-urgent delivery, feel free to contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

Can you deliver on a specific day or time window?
Usually, yes, within reason. Please use “Additional information” section of Checkout to let us know your requirements and we’ll do our best. If we can’t do what you’ve asked for, we’ll give you a call.

Do you take phone orders?
The quickest and simplest way to order from us is online via our website. However, we can take orders over the phone (01628 471693) if you prefer. As we might be out making deliveries or pretending to do some work in the office, please leave a message if we don’t answer.

Where is your shop?
We don’t have one! We are online only. Therefore, unfortunately we don’t offer ‘Click & Collect’, only deliveries.

Can you supply businesses?
Yes, we are VAT-registered (VAT no. GB219834095) and we are a licensed wholesaler (AWRS URN: XYAW00000100693) as well as retailer, so we’d be delighted to supply your business – pubs, restaurants, offices, events, etc. Please contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss this with you.

Why are your prices so low?
Marlow & Henley Wine Co. is a lean, low-cost, low-margin online retailer. We buy well thanks to our company’s experience in wholesale / distribution, buying and importing most of our products directly. Also, we keep our overheads low by not having our own retail premises.

Do you offer discounts, coupons, promotions, etc?
Our aim is to offer our customers great value, competitive, ‘everyday’ prices. Most people are clever enough to work out that a case of wine that “was” £200 and is “now” £100 was probably never worth £200. Likewise, “buy a case of 12, get 3 free bottles”, “25% your first order”, etc, are all just marketing gimmicks. So, generally we’d like to avoid this type of thing. That said, if you’re looking to place a very large order, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

What if a product I buy from you is faulty or I don’t like it?
If you buy any of our products and it is faulty or you don’t like it, please retain the packaging (even if empty), contact us, and we will replace it or refund it. We will replace or refund a maximum of one of the same product if opened (no maximum for unopened products).
